Lol, if you didn't purchase something and then get your free game. Although I still didn't get my certificate. I only put in for one about ten minutes ago. I don't think it is automatic.

I got mine the other day. I happened to use one of my testers coupons last February, only thing is it said was that they didn't recognize my email & phone number.
Sent out a support request with the order info on it and I was shocked when I got an answer back within and hour of what to do!
Nice thing, you could get a CE or an SE...
They sent me a link to a page to go to and told me what to enter, then there was a drop down menu with all of the games listed.

I picked "The House of 1000 Doors CE" on a recommendation from a friend. Haven't tried it yet, so I hope it's a good one...

I hope I have your luck. I got 2 games this year using "points" from Opinion Outpost (The Treasures of Montezuma 3 & Arxon). I just sent my information. I hope I get the download/unlock information soon!
I haven't even received an acknowledging email that they received my message! I sent a second one and got the exact same result. I'm not to happy with them!

I got my email last week and I was given a brand new HOG, Collectors Edition. Can't remember the name of it now, but I liked the graphics. I have gone off HOGs but my daughter hasn't so I got it for her. I'm very impressed with such a gift from Alawar.

I've not purchased an Alawar game for over a year, so wasn't able to get a freebie :(
I finally got a response from Alawar on my situation - with instructions on getting the free game - I'll do a search and choose later! I'm MUCH happier now.

I'm still trying to decide what to get. I like Match 3 games so I might get Cradle of Rome 2. I also tried one of the farm building games but that wasn't very interesting. I hadn't thought I would like HOGs but I have gotten a couple recently from GAOTD and I did find them somewhat interesting. Probably wouldn't pay for one though. Has anyone tried the Mountain Crime: Requital game? The nice thing is that you can try out games before purchasing.
It's a good idea to try it out before you request the code to be sure it works for you. I finally decided on House of 1000 Doors: Family Secrets Collector's Edition. It's got an extra chapter but you have to finish the original game before you get to play that.
I played for 9 whole minutes before I exited and requested the code. Then I let hubby play with the PC. By the time I got back, my email with the registration key was waiting for me. Now I'm unlimited in time! :)
My only complaint with the new Alawar setup is it won't let you select where to put the game and won't use your "gamebox" setting. It just puts it in Program Files. I just MOVE it out to where I want and it's perfectly happy with it.

I had that problem and finally decided it was my email. I switched to my yahoo account and I get their messages. I've had similar problems with other game sites with my Comcast email addys. You might try from another email and explain the situation - it can't hurt.
