I am looking for a macro or shortcut that would allow me to change my screen resolution settings quickly. Would this work for that since it uses drop-down menus? Thanks.

I suggesting using a tiny freeware program like qres that can do that instantly, without the potential for error that macro recorders sometimes have.

If you want a shortcut just create one for qres.exe then right-click and change it's properties by adding the necessary parameters. For example, if you wanted to switch to 1024x768 you make the command look like this:
qres.exe /x:1024 /y:768
