   I have the same problem. Three or four of the Alawar games only install as demo's with 60 minutes play time. My other Alawar games activate OK with no restriction on play time.

   White page might occur only with Firefox.
   Try Internet Explorer instead.

   Trial Download only - I've confirmed this - Waiting for PTB to resolve.

   Firefox is the only way I CAN view the game page. I gives me a white screen everytime with IE today.

   Confirmed, the Activation program does not insert the Game Key into the Registry. Starts as a Demo with 60 mins of gameplay only.

    I'm having the same problem with Monster House, the activation is not working. I tried several times without success. Lets hope the GOTD is working on the issue. I'm going to come back later and try again.

    Monster House failed to Activate on 2 systems (XP Pro SP2 and XP Media Center) here. The only difference is that these were installed using the 'Custom' choice to place them on different drives than C:. Did anyone use the 'Standard' choice?

    On one system, the website was white, but both run Firefox 2.0.0.9? On the system with the white screens, IE had to be used? Could it be FF extensions that are messing it up?

    http://www.giveawayoftheday.com displays ok, only http://www.game.giveawayoftheday.com that has a problem?

    Also, I can see there were some comments I think made, but none listed for the game? It shows (now) a total of 71 votes on the game? Doesn't make sense?

    Danggg Dangggg, I couldn't have the game to activate also and tried it on several computers and 2 laptops and won't go!
    But other than that, it's a great site for free software and great games for kids!
    First time this happens to me, but can't complain when it's free :)
    Keep up the good work peeps!

    PS: I did have FireFox also and did them same as most commenters said about the firefox problem and went back to IE ,but to know resolve of the game Monster House to be activated!!!

    I used the standard install. Still doesn't work. The key is bad itself and is not working which is the problem. I get the message that the giveaway has expired to come to this web site and download the new offer.

    Well, I've downloaded twice. First time the file was "MonstersHouse.zip" Second time (5 minutes ago, it's now "MH.zip"

    Still having same activation problems. Hopefully GGOTD gets it right before our time is up.

    Also, still have "white screen" with Internet Explorer. Have to use FF to even get to the game page.

    i have downloaded it 4 times and it installs as a demo and i cant leave any comments baecause it says program error

    ps. people stop making new threads about Monster house just use one theres like 8 threads about the same topic

    I can't see the game page no matter which browser I use. A friend sent me the zip that she had downloaded earlier this morning but I can't activate. She tells me that hers is in demo mode as well. I am guessing that there is a problem here and that the game will be re offered sometime soon again. Even with the occasional problems here I still have to say that both of the giveaway sites are still in top 3 of best sites on the INTERNET. Thanks so much guys!

    I downloaded late last night - actually, very early this morning - and had the problem with monsterhouse.zip, and then tried again just now - getting mh.zip - and still have the same activation problem.

    Well I downloaded with no problems.

    I even activated it without a problem and I have seen it writes the key to the registry also.

    I have seen the key in the registry, and I have seen the same key value in the opening window when I click the 'Already purchased the product?' line. I click on the 'Register Game' button and it says 'Thank you for registration'. It then offers a 'Play Game' button but clicking this to start the game then returns me to the initial screen with the 60 minutes of gameplay left. The key does not unlock the product for me, and I have downloaded the .zip file a number of times. Have you tried playing the game? Does it open with a window saying that there are only 60 minutes of gameplay left left or is your version fully registered and unlimited?

    I've downloaded 3 times from a direct link in another thread, it downloads fine, it says it's activated then goes to a page "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" and when i install the game it is a 60 min trial. So the problem is still not resolved.

    I thought that I'd figured it out. I'm having same problem as emperor. I enterd the key that was already in my registry directly into the trials " already purchased" part, then go to start a game, and comes up as trial once more.

    You don't.

    The game isn't working for anybody.
    I suspect the key that comes with the game is invalid.
    We wait together for an announcement that the problem has been corrected.

    With one hour remaining - I think it's fairly safe to assume this game may appear as a rerun as this has affected everyone. However, that being said - it's not my call - but the GOTD Team have a track record of looking after us all in the past.

    I'm guessing they'll make some arrangements with Alawar games - when this problem is resolved.
