   No error code, just...nothing happens. On both game and regular giveaways. I have win 10 and have used both IE and firefox. Using 7zip

   Your security software is most likely preventing the installation.

   The normal workarounds are:
   (a) set an exclusion for the directory in which the unzipped installation files reside
   (b) temporarily disable your security software and install the program
   (c) if those fail, boot in "safe mode with networking", install the program, reboot normally

   Try (b) first, if it works then use (a) for future downloads

   (b) didn't work - same thing. downloads fine but setup.exe does nothing. I'll try rebooting in safe mode.

   Well.. tried to reboot into safe mode, but apparently it's a real ordeal with windows 10. F8 doesn't work anymore and the other ways I've read about sound very iffy. So guess I'm just SOL on getting these giveaways anymore.

   The F8 key hasn't really worked since Vista. To get to safe mode, press the Windows Key and the "R" key to open a run box, enter "msconfig" in the box, click the "boot" tab and select "Safe Boot" and "Network". Reboot and try the installation. Then, whether it installs or not, go back to msconfig and click "Normal Startup" on the main page and reboot normally.

   From the sign-in screen

   1. Restart your PC. When you get to the sign-in screen, hold the Shift key down while you select Power icon > Restart.

   2. After your PC restarts to the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart.

   3. After your PC restarts, you'll see a list of options. Select 4 or F4 to start your PC in Safe Mode. Or if you'll need to use the Internet, select 5 or F5 for Safe Mode with Networking.
