Well, I'll be back next week. I'll be flying down to Florida for my senior class trip Wednesday moring. I'll be at Disney World the rest of the week and will return on Sunday. It's not a great time to fly right now with this whole "Swine Flu" scare but let's hope for the best. See you all next week :]

Hava great trip Chip. I'm off to Disney Florida in just over 3 weeks time with my family. It'll be the first visit I've made to the US. We've decided to devote most of the two weeks to a discovery Cove visit plus the extras yu get with that package, then on to Cape Canaveral (my visit) and only one day at Disney. We intend to travel back in the next few years to do more of Disney. We made the mistake of booking a hotel that's miles away from Disney, so made the decision to just do the one day this first visit. (My daughter wanted the swimming with the Dolphin experience as the last time she did it in Turkey a few years ago, she only got a few minutes in total for virtualy the same price).

Thanks everyone for your responses :]. Yesterday someone was rushed from Phil. Int'l Airport to the hospital with symptoms of the Swine Flu and that's the airport I'll be heading to tomorrow. Well no stupid sickness is ruining my trip, lol.
@HOSS: I won't of course, lol. But the flu is actually an airborne virus which makes it all the more dangerous and deadly :/ There's treatment for it but I heard that it's such a new disease and that treatment is hard to come by. There's already been over 200 deaths in Mexico (where this all started) and now reports are coming into America. There's already 5 confirmed cases in my state (New Jersey) alone with more in other states. Obama has warned us to be alert but not alarmed. We'll just have to wait and see how things play out. Hopefully this doesn't turn into an ecodemic.
@Whiterabbit: You'll love Florida. I've been there many times and it never gets old. The Discovery Cove sounds interesting; never tried that before. You'll love Disney. Sure there are rides for the kids but there's also many cool rides and rollercoasters for all ages. Not to mention you can head on over to Downtown Disney to party at the clubs, I know I will, lol ;] But seriously, apart from the pop-up rain showers that seem to come out of nowhere all the time, Florida is great :]
@midori: Lol, ok I will. And by the way, I'm not joking here or anything. But one of my real life friends is actually named Dale, lol. Go figure ;]

Chip, Swine Flu is here in NZ too, courtesy of 20 schoolkids recently back from Mexico. Poor kids and their families are under 'house arrest' until they are cleared and those confirmed with the flu are in isolation until further notice. It is encouraging that less than half of the kids, and none of their families, have developed the flu.
We have a product called 'Tamiflu' which has been made available free for those with Swine Flu, all others wanting it as a preventative will have to pay around NZ$80. The Medical Association is hoping to keep the flu confined to just the schoolkids but I'm sure we will have other travellers from Mexico too.

Sorry to hear that Chip. Get better!
@ WR, I went to florida, and totally hated the humidity. Made me want to stay in an air conditioned Burger King. Hope you don't feel the same. Florida was in a heat wave at the time...

Hi Chip,
Thanks for the info. We chose May because we thought it wouldn't be too hot and humid, lol. I just hope it doesn't get hotter otherwise I'll be hanging around air con lol
