I downloaded DRM Removal on both my desktop and laptop computers and when I tried to install it I got the same error message on both computers: ! D:\Go!Zilla\Downloads\DRMRemoval.zip: CRC failed in Setup.exe. The file is corrupt
! Cannot execute "D:\DOCUME~1\KENTHA~1.KEN\LOCALS~1\Temp\Rar$EX02.312\Setup.exe"
How do I get around this problem?

Try downloading with something other than Go!Zilla. Try Internet Explorer's built in downloader. It sometimes happens that some programs corrupt downloads.

I've tried to activate but got a message saying that the product cannot be activated because my license code had already been activated by another windows installation with a system ID different of that calculated for my computer by the DRMREMOVAL application.

I get the same thing as jedu

I get the same thing as jedu.
I have Windows 7 RC 64-bit.
Any help?Posted 15 years ago # -
I'm supposing that it's a new day for the DRM Removal people, or they didn't allocate enough activations to accommodate everybody. It's probably a problem with their activation system.
Posted 15 years ago # -
I get the same activation error. I sent an email to support, see if anything happens.

I may have the same problem. When I start DrmRemoval, there is no button labeled "Enter License Code" to click, as indicated in the readme.txt. It does automatically go into a screen to enter license code, but "Get Activation Code" gives me the error noted by jedu.
Maybe this was just a giveaway of the morning???

Add me to the list. Crap, I really wanted this program.

I get the same problem everyone else is having

You can add me to that list. I am hoping that I can get this registered.

Me too. Thought it was just me. Hope they fix the problem before it's too late to activate the software. Bummer.

I'm getting the same error. This is a problem with online activation.
Posted 15 years ago # -
Same issue as Jedu. States License has been used by another installation of windows.

Getting same as Jedu

so. what happens next? They just continue to ignore us until it expires? Must remember that.

I have the same problem on two computers (Windows Vista). Going back to restorepoint and start all over again did not help. I hope this problem will be solved. Seems to be a great program.

I have the same problem with getting the activation code. I hope they can fix this problem so we can get an activation code. I think that its ridiculous that this problem occurred for atleast the last quarter of the giveaways time. Hopefully they'll either rerelease it or send us new license codes so we can activate it.

Bonjour Everybody :*)
I have to concur w the others.
Followed the ReadMe instructions (as always!) but still could not activate.Tried to on my laptop, went back to restore point, re-installed - still no go.
Hubby went to the office and tried on the PC there, w same results.
On the 4 attempts, got the same message as Jedu.
All OS' are XP SP2, FF2 & FF3•• Although, after each attempt, the SW header changed from "Trial" to "Unlimited Trial". Does this mean anything?
Mangoette Pirouetting all over
Wish me luck!!

#rgalverson,
Maybe this was just a giveaway of the morning???Most probably not. But it definitely was a giveaway which started just 5 1/2 hours after totality of the longest total solar eclipse over 140 years! What, if the DRM activation system in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv has been knocked out of its stride by the sunlight's whim?!
"Most probably" not. Anyways, this seems to soon become a rerun (hopefully).Posted 15 years ago # -
"When you get to the registration screen , go to http://www.drm-removal.com/activate.php
instead of clicking on "get activation Code".Enter your license and systemID no online"I tried that several times with different ID's (before the time did expire), but it's not working. I get: "An error occurs while generating activation code for you.
Please write to support@drm-removal.com describe the problem, date and time and we will send your activation code to you."
I did sent an email to info@drm-removal.com.Posted 15 years ago # -
Hey there Beautiful Maestro
Thank you so much for always being so helpful :*)
Still, I think I did everything right, I never have install or activation problems, so I'm guessing it must be *their* problem, dont u think?
On one of the attempts I did try to register online, but that was rejected too :-(Talk soon

Hi, all, sorry to hear about the problems. It won't help you when I tell you that I am quite lucky that I got it just in time? Immediately after my activation the first posts appeared with this problem. I do really hope there will be help for you all. Especially for the roof-problems :).

thanks admin. I also had problems activating mine on any of my computers and laptop. :) Will try to activategain. Thankfully I didn't delete the program. That was a job for later today when I always do a desktop cleanup.

Na, still not working for me. Ah well, I'm sure I can live without such a program, lol.

Thanks, oh great Master of the Key, for listening to the Forums!
If possible, please make an announcement in the comments section too, maybe that would make even more users happy, as not so many find the way to this lovely place.
