I saved, unzipped, and installed today's game, Mysterious City Cairo. But I can't open the game and there's no shortcut on desktop. In the Readme box, there's nowhere to activate it. I have Vista. Help please.

You probably have to make your own shortcut. WhiteRabbit has a short tutorial on how to do it. It's really simple. Basically, just fine the application program, right click and select "Create Shortcut", rename the shortcut to what you want it to be and then copy/or move it to where you want (menu or desktop).

the game is in C:\Games\Cairo ou another drive and you must make a shortkup of the file 'cairo.exe' on your desktop

In general, for future reference, type the name of the program you are looking for in the Vista "search box" from the Start Menu, and the program will pop up. Then, you can right-click to create a shortcut to the desktop (or another preferred location) as was indicated by others in this discussion thread.

It might not be that easy! Sometimes the folder or game has spaces and other times it "crunches" everything together. My experiences with Windows Search has not been that great either!

Hi Dragonlair, yes, I know what you mean. That happens with me too sometimes.
