   1. Start "regedit".
   2. Navigate to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT "lnkfile" (Export in '.reg' form to backup)
   3. Right clic and Delete the "IsShortcut" registry value.
   4. Restart your PC to apply change.

   If you don't understand; don't do it. PM me I will explain with more details.

   works good on XP but Windows 7 not like it for get why so I only do it on XP

   This is such a wonderful thing. I can't remember how much sleep I've lost knowing that my shortcuts still have those hideous arrows.
