I know this has been discussed before, but I cannot get a suggestion that works; the discussion also suggests yelling loudly if nothing works. So, here goes:
I am using Win 7 Home Edition, 64-bit. I use Comodo. In the past, with Win XP, everything worked properly; now, despite many tries, always the same answer:
Failed to Connect. Please try again later.
After executing the setup program, Comodo notes the attempt to use the Internet, as always. I give permission, as always. This occurs two ot three times, then the dreaded message!
I have looked through Comodo's logs and can find nothing mentioned. I have changed settings to nl avail. Someone mentioned IE: What does the browser have to do with activation? I do have IE (64-bit) installed but I only use it as a last resort. But I do not see what it has to do with activation.
I would appreciate some suggestions I haven't already read.
