I just tried the program and all it does is color the pupil area, not fix the eye glow in the fashion that human red-eye programs do. If I only want to color the pupils then I can use a paint program. I am uninstalling as the program is a waste of space.

I've tried installing it 5 times. No executable file in the unzipped / "installed" program file. There are subfolders for "demo" and "languages", but few other files. I can't even launch anything from the program folder, and no shortcuts were installed in the start menu 'Pet Eye Fix Guide" folder.

I would like to try this program, but suspect that my download file is corrupted, as no matter how many times I re-download it, the results are the same. Note that I've unzipped the downloaded file with 2 separate programs with the same resulting files. I don't even have a useful uninstall file and Revo Uninstaller can't find any program with "pet" or "eye" in the name.

Observation:

Program displays status in name and about as a trial.

Go to "Registration" and remove the numerical key the Install created and insert the numerical key found in the "Readme."

You will know the program has been successfully registered because all references to "Pet Eye Fix Guide Trial" will change to "Pet Eye Fix Guide." The word "trial" will no longer appear.

Its a really nice program!

According to the description, this isn't limited to just 'red' eye: "Pet Eye Fix Guide corrects any color (red, blue, green, yellow, white) of shining eyes on your pet's photos. Can be used for human red eye also. Allows you to adjust even fully light-struck eyes."

I used this program on an image of my sister's cat; his eyes were totally light-struck off-white. It didn't take many iterations to change his eyes back to normal by using Eye Color, Pupil (shape), and Gleam.

TintGuide offers several programs that focus on one particular solution, and each does it well.

The previous commentator doesn't know what he's talking about - animals don't have "red-eye" - their eyes usually go bright green - just like in the photos. The program seems very useful - I've tried to use traditional "red-eye" removal tools with various photo-retouching software, and I've never had much success. This is a tailor-made program for animals, so I believe it is unique, and full-marks to the software developer.

The sample photos don't look like red-eye to me. Humans show red-eye in photos.
