The program appeared to install okay and I received the Registration key without any problem... but when try to start the program, even with
Administrator permission, instead of starting, I get the following message:
" ultconvw . exe - Application Error "
" The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000005).
Click OK to close the application. "

Downloaded and installed OK. I tested a conversion and it worked fine. Unfortunately, it did not allow me to change the target drive so it automatically installed on C. I only allow system software on my primary drive. You may want to include that feature which just about every software has.

vasimo, if you are not happy with the drive where the giveaway was installed, you can use a free tool from Ninite, App Mover.

You can download the tool from https://ninite.com/appmover/NiniteAppMover.exe

Technically, it works by moving an application's files to a location of your choice and then replacing the old app directory with an NTFS junction point to the new location. The apps don't even know the data is actually living on another drive or directory or wherever you put them.

It works fine for me.

vasimo, the setup.exe has a link to customise the install, one setting exposed is installation path which allows one to set other than C: drive locations It is incredibly likely the download of the real installer will be placed somewhere on the C: drive... %TEMP%\tmp123_downloader\download\ultconv_v5.2.1_x64.exe

155MByte downloaded installer that will remain after installation AND AFTER the program uninstall script so YOU will have to manually clean up your %TEMP% folder of this detritus. For all others this is a hard coded 32bit downloader for a 64bit installer it does not detect the host systems native bit width and download the correct installer accordingly but on 32bit systems it downloads the 64 bit installer fails to launch it and then throws and error and in that error it gives a URL to a potential x86 32bit downloader... The correct URL to the 32bit downloader is available on the given products homepage: https://fliflik.com/download/?product=ultconv_x86.exe but again that will leave the downloaded real installer in the same subfolder of the users %TEMP% folder like the x64 bit installer... It is cleaner to download the installer direct and install it manually! plus you can specify if there is a desktop icon or not, which is not possible using the downloader to manage the installation https://download.fliflik.com/ultconv/win/ultconv_v5.2.1_x86.exe using the x86 downloader after the x64 downloader leaves TWO installers the 64bit one at 155MBytes and the x86 one at 114MBytes in the same %TEMP% subfolder which is usually on the C:\ drive, you'll need to clean up these files at some point, personally if my C: drive was a small SSD that I could not easily change to a 1TB or better SSD I'd consider moving the users %TEMP% folder to a second drive even if it were a microSD card! I'd also disable quick boot/start as that produces gigabytes of writes per shutdown and re-start cycle for not much if any increase in boot speed and also harms windows stability by reducing a full reboot to only when windows update requires it to install new files.
TK
P.S. that means you should uninstall from your C: system drive and either choose custom installation and choose your preferred user programs folder location creating a new folder as appropriate or just go to the mentioned %TEMP% folder location and launch the real installer and select install path language and desktop icon like a normal installer. Hope that helps.

vasimo, I highly agree with you in only allowing system software on my C: drive.
