   I almost got a bit angry, but after doing some research, those of us that bought it get some things that the others dont. I'm not sure it makes up for it.
   

   I've been looking at some of these free to play games and they look more expensive to play than the monthly paying ones.

   I have the game through the Orange Box... so I'll have the premium account. My concern here is the influx of cheaters there will be. If VAC catches you cheating, it will ban you from the game. It used to be... if you want to play the game and you've been caught cheating, you have to buy the game again with a new account. There's a monetary penalty if you want to play again. That's no longer the case. Now a caught cheater can simply create a new account and maybe re-install the game and Steam.. I didn't buy the game to have a premium account for an MMO on a "free to play" system either. I just think they've changed the inner dynamics of the game drastically... and I'm not sure everyone's on board. I'm not even sure that I'm on board.

   I don't want to pre-judge. They've just put this in place. I'll give it a go... but I'm obviously skeptical.

   PS Edit: HEY ! a new hat if you own the game already. Just what the game needed... more hats.

   haha to be honest I got bored with this game very quickly and don't see what all the fuss is about. Though I supposed the number of players can't be that far from wrong; that said, the stats for today's game play numbers (over 71 thousand playing at one time is since it was made free).
