   I am in MN at my brother's house and I would like to download the free give-a-way. Can I download this to my U3 thumbdrive?

   Sure, you can download the zip file to your thumb drive but unless you have remote access to your computer at home you won't be able to activate the program to register it on your own computer.

   Activation is not possible after the give away day expires. You can't take the zip file home and still be able to activate it on your home computer at a later date.

   If it's one of those "smart" thumb drives that lets you plug in and run someone else's computer as if it were your own then maybe it will work. I don't recall anyone mentioning a successful activation to a smart thumb drive but quite a few have done so with USB external hard drives.

   If the U3 is recognized just like any other external hard drive then why shouldn't it work? Try it, what have you got to lose? You may have to continue to run that program from the thumb drive once you get home though.
