I had the same problem. I downloaded and went to the registration site and entered my information and was sent an email without a registration code. I thought maybe there was a glitch, so I did it again using my other email address, but got the same results. No way to register the program without that.

Did you use a disposable email or did you use your normal email?
My tests brought the same empty emails - several times.
The email shown in this copy is of course just a fake name in a
Disposable, Anonymous and Free email address.
Maybe the developer has a filter to avoid disposable addresses.I informed the GOTD team about your posts - just in case they hadn't the time to follow the forums now.

Code don't work, gave up.

Same here. I got the EMail with no code. Tried again with a different EMail, same results. I contacted them as well, but I doubt I'll get a reply in time to use whatever they send, if they even bother to reply.
Maybe they view this as a way to attract potential customers without giving anything away, but in my case it only makes me distrust them.

This GOTD is quite horrible. Doesn't work as everyone else has pointed out. Now some marketing company has my details. Not impressed. Hope GOTD does something about this.

I used a Yahoo email address for both submissions. It will only let me use an email once, hence the second request is using different email account. I have not heard anything more from the company or GOTD, so since I've already installed the software, but was unable to finish the registration, if they send me license code will I be able to activate it after the end of today?
Thanks,
MikePosted 11 years ago # -
@ Gadget57
It happened in the past that companies extended the period of validity or that GOTD reran the giveaway.
However until now I haven't heard anything of Blaze Video.
The GOTD team is not able to do anything without the developer's agreement.graylox

Iagree that GAOTD is not responsible. I've never heard of Blaze Video before either, and I hope I never do again. As Mapheox mentioned, this strikes me as a sleazy ploy to get user information.
Posted 11 years ago # -
Therefore I'm very reluctant with my data and use for unknown companies a throw-away email address like e.g. http://www.yopmail.com/en/
When I like a software, I'll buy it and then the developer gets my real data of course.

My brother does the same thing. I thought he was being paranoid, but anymore I'm not so sure.

I found this comment now as # 22
Dear friends, this is Helen Wood from BlazeVideo, I am sorry that the registration code sending system broke down some time ago, now it has been fixed. Please feel free to get the free registration code right now. Sorry again for causing you any inconvenience.
Comment by Helen Wood — August 18th, 2013 at 9:57 pmThis comes rather late and I don't know how long it'll work - just try it.
Good Luck.Posted 11 years ago # -
It has been fixed--sort of---you need to go to the registration page again and request the code using a different email address other than the one you originally used. Also use the download link in the email to get the updated version of the software and use the registration code finally provided. Good luck.

this is ridiculous...
i got an empty reg code and now i find out i needed to request another 10h ago ???Posted 11 years ago # -
It finally seems to be working, although it took me 3 tries with the new info provided.
What a hassle.

After installation of Blaze Video Magic Ultimate 6.1.1.0(rerun) the software is "activated" but as soon as I open to do a conversion I am informed that this is version 6.2.1.0 and is unregistered.
I have no license code to use this version and nor did I receive an email with the code so what do I do with it if it does not work.
Can someone please advise me?Posted 11 years ago # -
Roy, based on your notes I suspect that the program never registered. You can't go by the web page that says the program was activated. You should always check the program's registration, which is generally found by clicking Help | About. If the program isn't registered then you need to uninstall and reinstall it.
Note 1: If you don't use a program like Revo then I'd run a registry cleaner, like Ccleaner, and remove all references to Blaze Video that it finds. You can ignore other entries as desired.
Note 2: You should reboot before reinstalling to ensure that all processes and entries associated with the program are gone.But... why are you working so hard to install a program that's just another conversion program? I really don't see anything special about it and there are scads of freeware alternatives. The program is telling you that it doesn't want to run on your PC, listen to what it's saying and find an alternative.

Agreed. I used Revo to uninstall and the DL with the provided code works like a champ.
It's been my experience that the regular uninstall procedures never work completely, and you definitely need something that digs into the registry and removes all the residual traces.
